Maria Sharapova Out Of The US Open
09.23.2007 NEW YORK-- Maria Sharapova won two quick matches at the US Open defeating Roberta Vinci in round one 6-0, 6-1 and Casey Dellacqua 6-1, 6-0 in round two. But in round three, Sharapova was upset by 30th seeded Agnieszka Radwanska 6-4, 1-6, 6-2. Radwanska only 17, attacked Maria's shaky second serve and rushed Maria into errors for the win. "She held on there," Sharapova said. "You'd think I would have momentum, but I just didn't really feel that way inside of me for some reason. I could sit here and blame the wind and blame my opponent. But there are no excuses. I'm not going to throw myself a pity party here."
